YWHO Core Components

Core components are the essential functions, principles, and activities required for an intervention to achieve its desired outcomes. Each YWHO site works with the YWHO Backbone  to implement  these evidence-based and evidence-generating components, including:

  1. Integrated Governance
  2. Partner Collaboration
  3. Integrated Location
  4. Evidence-Based or Evidence-Generating Services
  5. Youth Engagement
  6. Youth Centered & Developmentally Appropriate Services
  7. Family Engagement
  8. Use of Standardized Measures and Outcome Evaluations
  9. Brand Adoption
  10. Organizational Capacity, Approach and Culture Operating with Equity-Based Principles
  11. Equitable and Inclusive Access and Physical Space
  12. Equity Data Use
  13. Clinical and Cultural Specific Services that Reflect the Population Groups

By implementing these core components with fidelity, we are ensuring that youth and their families are receiving the best possible quality of care irrespective of the YWHO site they access.
