Rainbow Health Ontario(RHO) Online Training Modules:
Option 1 - open to all registrants *This course is a prerequisite for all other RHO courses
LGBT2SQ Foundations Course: This is a seven-module course on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, Two-Spirit and queer (2SLGBTQ+) health for healthcare and social service providers. This course can be completed online individually at any time.
Option 2 - aimed for Doctors, Nurses, Psychiatrists
Three courses for healthcare providers. CNE Educational credit and Mainpro – M1 Credit provided for the completion of all three courses. These courses will be scheduled with an RHO facilitator. We strongly encourage doctors, nurses, and psychiatrists from all YWHO sites to participate in these learning opportunities. Learning sessions will be scheduled for health care providers from all YWHO sites to attend the sessions they are interested collectively. Sessions include:
- Puberty suppression for trans youth in primary care
- Transition-related hormone therapy in primary healthcare
- Transition-related surgeries: Planning, referral, and care
