YWHO Data Collection Platform

The following pages are intended to support staff members at Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO) sites to learn to use the YWHO data collection platform that will be used to collect data from youth across the province. Users might include front-desk and welcome staff, peer support workers, clinicians, and non-clinical service providers who will support youth and families/caregivers accessing services at YWHO sites.

Introduction

The data collection software used by YWHO has been developed in collaboration with Dacima Software. is a suite of clinical tools and assessments used to collect information and data to inform measurement-based care. Measurement-based care is the systematic evaluation of symptoms before or during a clinical encounter. Results from the encounter are used to inform decision-making about treatment at the level of the individual client. 

This platform provides an interactive method of collecting data, supports service providers in providing care to youth and family members/caregivers, and facilitates the reporting of this information at both the individual and site level. It is important to note that identifying data (data that includes personal information about the client) will not be accessible to anyone but the site’s team (i.e., YWHO staff that are employed by agencies listed on your site’s consent form as well as a limited number of CAMH backbone staff that will be assisting with troubleshooting, technical support, and reporting of data).

Each YWHO site will collect the same measurement-based care fields. A standardized approach to care will help ensure that all youth experience the same quality of youth-centered care, no matter which site they visit.
